There are lots of things happening this Easter Weekend and both shops are open as normal - even Easter Sunday. 

On Saturday in Edinburgh's West End you can enjoy special performances and experiments from the Science Festival's Busker Bikes on Stafford Street from 11am - 3pm.  You can also go on an Easter Egg hunt around the area, loads of shops (including One World Shop), bars and restaurants have a secret stash of free chocolate eggs for you to get your hands on - look out for the poster!

On Sunday, One World Shop is hosting a Easter Bunny Hunt for the chance for you to get your hands on MORE chocolate eggs! Pop into the shop from 12 - 4pm to join in the fun.

One more thing - ForthOne.com are running a competition to win a Fair Trade Chocolate Hamper from One World Shop.

This beautiful red leather Jawaja bag is only £68, and is made by the group Sasha based in Kolkata. Sasha works with craftspeople from all over India.

These beautiful cushion covers have the personal touch - each one is embroidered with the name of the artisan who has painstakingly decorated it with the Banyan tree mirrorwork design. They are lovingly made by the St Mary's group from Ahmedabad, India. £18 each

Here's your chance to meet Justine & Jennipher, our lovely visitors from Uganda this Fairtrade Fortnight.  

From 12.15pm this Friday (2nd of March) come along to the Peace & Justice Centre's Bring and Share Lunch for a presentation from the Coffee Farmers and an opportunity to talk to them.  Lunch will be shared from 1pm, and everyone is welcome.

You can also show your support by buying their coffee, Equal Exchange Mount Elgon Gumutindo from One World Shop.

The Beano have teamed up with Dubble to create a Beano themed Fairtrade Chocolate Easter Egg which is now available to buy in our shops.  They're running a great competition too, the winning entry will be featured in The BeanoMax and ten runners up win a Comic Kit along with a heap of Dubble choc. There are a lot of events happening over Fairtrade Fortnight 2012. This year, it will be running from 27th February to the 11th March.
