It's Fairtrade Fortnight 2016!

Sit Down for Breakfast, Stand Up for Farmers

This year highlights the fact that before we've even finished our breakfast, we've depended on so many people all around the world. Those oranges don't squeeze themselves you know!

Make your breakfast count!

Lots of people are organising their own big fair trade breakfast events, some people are just making a change to fairtrade coffee for their morning cuppa - and then there are others who are going full out for a fair trade feast!

Click here to have a look at what you can buy from us to serve at your fair trade breakfast.

Fairtrade School Uniform Event

We've already had our first Fairtrade Fortnight event at the City of Edinburgh Methodist Church with lots of schools from around Scotland who have bought (or thinking of buying) Fairtrade uniforms for their school from KoolSkools. These brilliant jumpers and polo shirts are not only made from fair trade cotton, they're also made in a fair trade factory - so the whole manufacturing line is fair, which believe it or not doesn't always happen! The uniforms are really hard wearing and come in loads of different colours too. Come speak to us or contact KoolSkools directly if you're interested in getting your school to wear Fairtrade every day!

Pamela L'Intellegent was speaking at the event too - you might remember her from some of the events last year's Fairtrade Fortnight. She works in the factory in Mauritius where the KoolSkools uniforms are made and was speaking briefly about that the schools that choose Fairtrade uniforms are saving lives, not only of people in her factory but the cotton farmers' lives and their children's lives too.
