One World Shop celebrates Scottish-African partnerships
Join us at One World Shop to hear about how Scotland's links with Africa are helping groups of producers and their communities, and women & children in Uganda, Malawi and South Africa.
Our culinary introduction to the night includes wonderful vegetable curry, with sauce from Swaziland, served with rice from Malawi.
Several groups are joining us to talk about the work they do in Africa, how it helps and what you can do to increase their support.
The LifeStitches Uganda project empowers HIV/AIDS women with children in Arua, Uganda to become financially self sufficient through the sale of beautiful cotton table products which the women stitch in a sewing workshop business. They also have an AIDS Orphan School Program, Bike Repair Shops and Ride to Own Bike Programs.
