A sophisticated ethical bar which is just right as a gift for someone you love. This organic and fair trade 55% dark chocolate bar is subtly flavoured with Arabica coffee. The cocoa is from Acopagro and El Quinacho in Peru and Yacao in The Dominican Republic. The cane sugar is from Asocace in Paraguay and Apoya in Costa Rica, and the Bourbon vanilla is from Komam and Cooppvm in Madagascar.
As well as paying the cocoa farmer 10% to 25% extra for their beans, this supplier runs all of their business as ethically as possible - they minimise shipping and use FSC certified paper for their wrappers, plus green packing material. They also support reforestation. All of the ingredients are organic certified, 100% of them are fairly traded with 100% traceability to source.
