I’m not local, can I still run a stall?
We can provide goods for your stall whether you are just down the road or half-way across the country.
You’ll be able to place your order online via our website. Once your account is set up, we will give you a special code to receive your discount every time you order.
Any additional costs for extra heavy or large orders will be confirmed before being billed to you.
How do I become a Stallholder?
To become a Stallholder, you’ll need to complete the Stallholder Application form so we can create an account for you.
We might follow up for evidence or a reference before we can create your account, so it would help if you have a reference or letter from an ‘official’ person within the organisation that your stall is held in.
I’ve run a sale or return stall for you for years, what’s changed?
We’re no longer able to let stock leave the premises without payment. All stalls now need to be paid for in advance or at time of collection.
You can still return any unsold stock as long as it is in saleable condition within 30 days (with a few exceptions), no questions asked. We can either refund this to you or issue you with store credit to use against your next purchase.
We have not had a huge amount of stalls for a few years, due to the issues surrounding Covid and Lockdowns, plus we’ve also changed our till system. So you will probably need to create a new account, but if we know you already you won’t need a reference.
What is a Stallholder?
A Stallholder is a person or group that runs a stall selling items from our shop. The stall is usually within a church, school or workplace.
Stallholders will have an account with us that allows them to get 10% discount, and also return any unsold goods.
It’s a great way to promote fair trade and sustainability within your community, and generate a little bit of income for your organisation or fundraising too.
I want to send something back
No problem, take a look at the process here .
How much is postage?
We don’t encorporate shipping costs into our products to make sure our prices are fair.

I live outside the UK and I want to order something
Sorry, we’re not able to send any orders outside of the UK. We recommend you speak to your local fair trade or zero waste shop if there is something in particular you want to buy.
Are all of your products Fairtrade?
Simply put, no. However, One World Shop only sells products that we are sure are fairly made and adhere to the Ten Principles of Fair Trade.
We buy a lot of products from shops and importers that are registered with BAFTS, WFTO and other similar fair trade organisations.
We also know how important it is to support small artisan groups that aren’t able to yet join these affiliations. Through associated organisations and personal connections, we build links with groups that have been checked out and we can comfortably say that they are made in a way that does not go against our principles.
In the last few years, we also decided that eco-friendly products should be more easily available and included them in our range. Most of these are made in the UK, but even so, there is no exploitation involved in these either.
We do our research into all of the brands and products that we buy so that you don’t have to. With 40 years of experience, our team have a good understanding on finding the balance of supporting small groups and ensuring we have a good number of items that are certified Fairtrade.
