Hand spun and woven scarf in indigo dyed organic cotton. Beautifully textured and coloured in mid tones of blue and with natural undyed threads forming fine lines down one side.
Meticulously handcrafted using skills handed down through many generations, these hand loomed cotton scarves are made by women from the Tai Lue tribe from Luang Prabang Province in Northern Laos. The artisans are affiliated to the Luang Prabang Handicraft Association which was developed to showcase the skills and traditional handicrafts of the province and guarantees fair wages to the craftspeople.
The cotton used is organic and comes from sustainable plantations. It is hand spun and coloured using natural dyeing processes.
